For the first time in 13 years Martial Arts legend Stephen K. Hayes from the United States teaches a full seminar in Germany again.

An-shu Stephen will be joined by his wife An-Shu Rumiko!!!
This will be a wonderful opportunity especially for the women to experience "female" To-Shin Do at it´s best.

The European To-Shin Do Festival 2009 will take place in north-west Germany in Bramsche, near Osnabrueck from August 14th – 16th.

"My intention for this European Festival training this year is to present all 8 Shinden Fudo Ryu Chi no Kata exercises with one solid Ura-gata variation each.

These relate to battlefield groundfighting defenses. Once we make it through all 16 of those, we will go through as many of the Shizen Shigoku kata as we can before heading for the outdoor fire meditation empowerment experience. Join us!"

The main topic of the Festival is “Victory in Chaos”.

How to win, when the odds are against you.
You will have the opportunity to attend lectures in

• To-Shin Do unarmed fighting,
• groundfighting,
• knife defenses and
• classical japanese weapons.
• Discussions, Question & Answer sessions, Meditations and the
• Goma-kan fire ceremony will be part of the training as well.
  
  

The festival language is english.

The training takes place in Bramsche, near Osnabrück in north-west Germany. Our seminar site is a very nice hotel with indoor and outdoor training spaces reserved for us.

Basic cost for the festival is € 199 if we receive your payment by July, 1st 2009.
After July 1st the basic festival fee will increase by € 20 to € 219.

For another € 49 you will attend Friday and Saturday night buffet and coffee/tea + cake/cookie breaks on Friday and Saturday afternoon.
